From 4th September to Friday 4th November 2011 between Lune Aqueduct and Caton Road Aqueduct on the Lancaster Canal contractors will be carrying out bank stabilisation works.

The contractor, May Gurney, will have floating pontoons and plant in the canal in order to undertake these works.

 On weekdays please observe signage, craft will be required to stop and wait for instruction from the contractors on site.

There will be a maximum of 1 hour delay.

At weekends craft users should proceed with caution as plant and machinery will be moored in the area.
