Birmingham City supporters have been celebrating after their team beat Arsenal 2-1 in the Carling Cup final. Nikola Zigic headed the team into the lead in the first half in front of a packed Wembley Stadium. Then Robin van Persie equalised for Arsenal as he scored an equaliser. With just a nail biting minute to go Obafemi Martins scored the wining goal for The Blues. It's the first time Birmingham has won a major trophy since 1963 and manager Alex McLeish said the win was his greatest achievement with Birmingham City. The Players and manager are sure to receive a heroes welcome when the return to their home town.
