Those on Canal Boat Holidays in Warwickshire should stop by Stratford-upon-Avon to take advantage of a one-off opportunity to explore the new sites of the Royal Shakespeare and Swan Theatres.

Staff and actors involved with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), as well as a limited number of tourists, will be able to see the new sites ahead of the rest of the general public.

Vikki Heywood, executive director of the organisation, has claimed that the new exterior is nearing completion and that the transformation of the facilities is almost ready.

She said: 'With under a year to go before we open the building to the public, excitement is building around activity within the theatre's walls.

'Brian Seaman, head of consultancy at Tourism for All, recently claimed that disabled people on Canal Boat Holidays in Warwickshire could take advantage of Stratford's efforts to transform the area into a more welcoming environment for people with mobility issues.
