People on Canal Boat Holidays in Cheshire will be treated to the spectacle of a variety of historic Narrowboats at the Canal Basin near Telford's Warehouse next week. A number of boats, which are travelling to the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port, will gather in Chester on March 31st, the Chester Chronicle reports. Among them will be the fly-boat Saturn, recently seen on TV's Victorian Farm, which will collect beer from Waverton's Spitting Feathers Brewery before heading to the museum. Those on Canal Boat Holidays in Cheshire will also be able to attend a special talk organised by Chester Canal Heritage Trust about the life and times of author Tom Rolt, while children's activities and entertainment will also be provided for the event. The Chester Food, Drink and Lifestyle Festival, which is set to feature more than 50 stalls and retailers, will also take place on the Easter weekend between April 3rd and the 5th. |
