Rachel Southwood, director at Wedding Ideas Magazine, claims that the minimoon is rising in popularity due to the number of people looking for short breaks to save money and work holiday.

She says that these have been particular popular at the end of last year and predicts that this will continue to gain followers as the UK enters a new decade.

'As a result, people will have more to invest in their holiday of a lifetime,' she asserts.
