Cruising the canals of the UK

Canal stoppages

24-08-2011 : DAMAGED QUOINS, GARSTON LOCK

To enable emergency repairs to damaged quoins on Garston lock on the Kennet And Avon Canal a stoppage will take place on the 24th and 25th August 2011.

The lock will be closed to boat traffic from 8am on the 24th August and will re open at 8am on the 26th.

The pound between lock 101 and 102 will be lowered during the works so please do not moor in this section.
