British Waterways will be carrying out dredging works at the following locations River Severn East Channel and Partings, Upper Lode, Upton Marina entrance, River Teme confluence, Diglis, Bevere, Holt, Lincomb, Stourport Marina entrance, Stourport Dock Basin entrance.

The work will be on going and will continue until 20th July 2011.

Dredging operations may be continued into the late evening and you are requested to take extra care if cruising in the twilight hours.

In addition Canal Boat users are requested to sound an audible warning when approaching the dredger.

Lock keepers will also advise boats if the Dredger is working in the stretch of river they are proceeding onto.
