Gloucester Rowing Club will be holding its annual Rowing Regatta on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August 2011 between 8am and 6pm on the Gloucester And Sharpness Canal.

The events will be held at Hempsted Meadows,just south of Gloucester Docks.

Passage through Hempsted during the Regatta will be restricted, these are in addition to those restrictions already in place associated with the Tall Ships Festival.

Canal Boat and craft users are requested to follow the instruction of marshals and safety boats to ensure safe passage.
