People on Cheshire Canal Boat Holidays are being given the chance to do something different over the coming weeks.

Anderton Boat Lift will be hosting a series of circus skills workshops throughout August, which includes guidance on how to juggle and walk on stilts.

The classes will take place every Wednesday throughout August between 11:00 and 16:00 BST and are sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Boat Lift Manager Tim Turner commented: 'Everyone has an inner entertainer waiting to be set loose.

Our 'Circusology' days will provide the ideal platform for people to realise their potential in a safe and fun environment.

'Located in Northwich, the Anderton Boat Lift has a thriving visitor area, which includes a café, exhibition area and restroom facilities.

It also has picnic areas that are particularly popular with guests throughout the summer, not least because of their views over the canal.
