20-09-2011 : MEXBOROUGH TOP LOCK

Between 9am and 5pm on Wednesday 21st September 2011 a diving operation has been planned to assess the lock gates and cills at the Mexborough Top Lock on the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation.

Skippers of vessels are asked to approach the lock with care and follow any instructions given by British Waterways staff.

A short delay may be necessary to clear the lock to enable passage.
