Cruising the canals of the UK

Canal stoppages

31-05-2011 : RESTRICTION AT LOCK 31, LEICESTER LINE

Lock 31 on the Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal will be staffed for assistance between the hours of 8 am and 5pm each day from 28th May 2011 until further notice.

This is due to an issue with the bottom Lock gates.

Outside these hours the lock will be closed.

If required the nearest winding holes are below bridge 97 and bridge 98.
