The Royal Horticultural Society, the RHS, is holding its annual Flower Show at Chelsea this week.

This is probably the event of the year for gardeners, designers, nurseries and horticulture expects.

Diarmuid Gavins flying garden and the B&Q towering allotment both won gold medals this year at the prestigious flower show.

The former Gardeners World presenter designed the garden that everyone is talking about, the centrepiece is a bright pink pod suspended 82 feet off the ground by a crane and surrounded by cartoon esque green hedge.

The B and Q exhibit by Laurie Chetwood and Patrick Collins is a 30 foot tall towering allotment and is the highest garden ever built at Chelsea.
