Follow the adventures of TT motorcycle legend Guy Martin and his mate Mark Davies as they attempt to renovate the neglected Canal Boat Reckless with inventions from the Industrial Revolution.
In the latest episode their challenge was to build a 18th-century blast furnace and to learn how to throw a traditional Wedgwood mug at the Wedgwood factory at Stoke on Trent. A trip on the Anderton Boat Lift, which links the Trent And Mersey Canal to The River Weaver, also featured on the BBC show.
Each of the six half hour episode will see the lads trying to complete a mission using only traditional and home made version of historical gadgets. Future episodes will feature a visit to the factory of famous lavatory manufacturer Thomas Crapper near Stratford on Avon and Guy deciding to use a steam engine to power the shower.
