On Thursday 15th September and Friday 16th September 2011 contractors are planning to lift Long Horse Bridge on the Upper Trent into place.

If possible the contractors will carry out this work under a restriction and they are currently preparing the method statement to determine if this is practical.

Boaters are requested to take instructions from the staff on site.

This may change if the weather or water levels affect the planned lift.
