Airspace in the UK could be forced to shut down this week after another volcano, Grimsvotn, in Iceland erupted spewing tons of ash into the atmosphere.

A volcanic expert at the Open University said amount of ash reaching the UK is likely to be less than in the 2010 Eyjafjallajokull eruption the last two times Grimsvotn erupted it did not affect UK air travel.
