Canal stoppages

09-05-2011 : WIGAN FLIGHT LOCK 77

There is an emergency stoppage today, 9th May 2011, on the Leeds And Liverpool Canal at Lock 77 the Wigan Flight.

This stoppage is due to the failure of the tail gate apron and cill.

Winding is a available above Lock 65 and at the junction with the Leigh Branch .
