Between 23rd January and 9th March 2012, due to essential works planned at Semington Dry Dock,there will be a stoppage and dewatering of the canal which will enable the works to be completed with the minimum impact to canal users. The canal will be dewatered between Lock 15 Semington and Lock 16 Harris Lock. During this time the towpath will remain open. The duration of the stoppage will be seven weeks commencing as from Monday 23rd January 2012 with completion anticipated by Friday 9th March 2012. During these works the towpath will remain open.
