07-12-2011 : KIBWORTH LOCK, NUMBER 18 TO BUMBLEBEE LOCK, NUMBER 29

Due to ongoing low water issues in this area it is necessary to extend the closure, of the Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal in this area, during the dewatering of locks numbers 18 to 25.

Navigation will therefore be closed between lock 18-29 and boaters are advised to wind at Kilby Bridge.
