Boaters are advised that the recent increased rainfall and high tides has led to the movement of debris within the river and some of this has become lodged in the channel.

The channel remains navigable but boaters are advised to approach obstructions with care.

British Waterways are working at the site to remove the trees as soon as possible and to restore the navigation to full operation.

Boaters are kindly requested to plan their journeys accordingly.
