09-01-2012 : WORKS DURING THE WINTER NAVIGATION CLOSURE.

The following works have been planned, to coincide with the winter navigation closure, on the Caldon Canal.

Towpath and Navigation between 9th Jan and 10th Feb, contractors working for Stoke City Council are to undertake essential works to strengthen the deck of Botteslow Street Bridge.

A towpath closure only between 13th Feb and 17th Feb so that the National Grid can undertake works to cap off redundant gas mains at this location.
