People going on canal boat holidays in the uk have plenty of free attractions to choose from, but selecting the best ones is likely to be difficult. Tripadvisor has put together its list of the best non-paying attractions all over the country in a bid to lend boat hire customers a helping hand.
Among them is the raf museum in shropshire, which plays host to one of the biggest aviation displays in the whole of the uk. It also educates visitors about the cold war era through a series of interesting exhibitions all housed in three wartime hangars.
'we have been three times in the past year and each visit has been wonderful. free admission and great for a rainy day too,' a tripadvisor user commented.
Meanwhile, arthur's seat in edinburgh also polled favourably among visitors mainly for its views over the city and the surrounding area. Visitbritain recently found people are not put off visiting the uk despite its reputation for bad weather. . |
