While on a canal boat holiday in shropshire next month visitors can enjoy a frighteningly good time. Blists hill victorian town near ironbridge is holding a ghostly gaslight halloween event featuring spook-tacular attractions for all the family.
There will be creepy crawlies, ghosts and ghouls and visitors are invited to get into the spirit and come in their spookiest costume. Taking place from 18:00 bst on saturday, october 30th, the event at the open-air museum will see the site taken over by ghostly beings, including the carpenter who nails the dead into their coffins.
Tickets are £9 for adults and £5 for children and must be bought in advance. Bonfire night will be celebrated at the venue on saturday, november 6th with an illuminated extravaganza promised for all the family to enjoy.
On this evening the people of blists hill will be wearing clothing of the victorian age and will be able to help visitors learn all about life in england in the late 1800s. . |
