26-06-2013 : LOCK 41 TO LOCK 43

On 27th June 2013 urgent works to reduce leakage will be untaken at this location on the Rochdale Canal to improve the water holding capacity of both lock 41 and lock 43.

The short pound between lock 40 and lock 41 will be dewatered on 27th June 2013.

Canal Boat and craft users wishing to moor can do so upstream of lock 41 is possible on the Summit pound between locks 36 and 37, with winding possible on the Summit.

Mooring downstream is possible between lock 47 and lock 48, with winding possible between lock 45 and 46.
