Canal Boat Holiday guests exploring the Shropshire Union Canal this Easter should take a break from cruising and visit Beeston Castle.

From now until 14th April visitors to the castle can follow the clues to crack the and complete the Easter trail.

From its lookout point at the top of a mighty crag, you can see from the Pennines all the way to the Welsh mountains.

There are also beautiful woodlands to explore around the castle, with wildlife trails for the children to follow, and even the chance to find the lost treasure of Richard II.
