Canal Boat Holiday guests who are fans of real ale should make their way to the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port this weekend as it is hosting a three day beer festival.

The festival, organised in conjunction with Titanic Brewery, will run from October 12th to October 14th and will showcase a range of real ales with canal and waterways connections from across the country.

They will be offering a wide range of great ales from the canal network, using brewers from canal side locations and classic canal towns.

The festival will be open on Friday 12th from 2pm to 11pm, Saturday 13th from 2pm to 11pm and on Sunday 14th from 2pm to 5pm.

On Sunday 14th October there will be the homecoming ceremony of the Narrowboat Ilkeston which has been on display at the London Canal Museum since August where she has been showcasing the skills and work of the museums Heritage Boatyard.

The National Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port can be reached on a Canal Boat Holiday from our marina at Blackwater Meadow on the Llangollen Canal.
