If you are a fan of Harry Potter and you want to know your Hufflepuffs from your Ravenclaw then the author JK Rowling is working on a Harry Potter encyclopaedia.

Do you wish you knew when Azkaban built, where the hell is Durmstrang and where do Dementors come from well lucky for all Harry Potter fans the answers could be just around the corner.

JK Rowling said For a long time, I have been promising an encyclopaedia of Harrys world, and I have started work on it.

It is likely to be a time consuming job, but when finished I shall donate all royalties to charity.

Some of the scenes from the Harry Potter films have been shot on location in the UK and many are easily reached on a Canal Boat Holiday.

The magnificent cathedral in Gloucester served as Hogwarts and the cloisters there provided the setting for several scenes in the film.

London plays a big part in the Harry Potter films when the Dursleys go to the Zoo it is filmed at London Zoo in Regents Park.

Platform nine and three quarters is where Harry catches the steam train to Hogwarts this was filmed on Platform 4 at Kings Cross Station.
