Exactly one year from today the Queen will celebrate her Diamond Jubilee over a four day Bank Holiday weekend.

Great Britain will have a bumper weekend with the spring bank holiday being held on the 4th June and an additional day off on 5th June 2012.

The Jubilee celebrations in the UK and the Commonwealth will include a service of thanksgiving at St Pauls Cathedral with a formal carriage procession by the Queen on the Tuesday.

London will be the centre of the celebrations with a special 7.

5 mile long Diamond Jubilee Thames river pageant consisting of up to 1,000 boats.

The crafts will include a mix of the historic and the modern vessels , from rowing boats to steamers and to larger motorised craft.
