28-04-2011 : TOWERING TENNESSEE TREEHOUSE

As well as a tongue twister this is also could be the worlds tallest tree house in the world.

Built in Tennessee, USA it has taken 14 years to build and measures 97 feet high.

The structure has been built by minister Horace Burgess who says God told him to build it.

It is built around an oak tree and is made out of recycled wood.

It has 10 floors, a church area and even a basketball court and if thats no enough Horace Burgess is still adding to it.

The bell tower at the top of the treehouse is equipped with oxygen acetylene bottles that chime daily.

We cannot promise that you will see any tree houses on your Canal Boat Holiday but we can guarantee that you will see some amazing sights.

You may think you are seeing things when you spot a Lighthouse on the canal side but its true, it may be 30 miles from the sea but one stands on the Bridgewater Canal.

You may come across The Cheese Boat whist you on your Canal Boat Holiday this Narrowboat cruises the canal network selling some rather remarkable cheeses.

If you are in Birmingham on your Canal Boat Holiday then what an odd place for a beach and not so much sand as dirt but is there really one located right under The Gravelly Hill Interchange, which is better known as Spaghetti Junction.

The ocean in the canal Jellyfish, mussels and seaweed can be found living in the Leeds And Liverpool Canal.
