UK Canal boat holidays

Whilst visiting Oxford on a Canal Boat Holiday why not take part in one of the city's famous walking tours.

Oxford was a key location for the filming of the Inspector Morse series, which is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Now Lewis uses Oxford as a location and if you are lucky enough to visit during filming, you can turn the corner and unexpectedly find Kevin Whately and Lawrence Fox in front of the cameras.

Also in 2012 the young Detective Constable Endeavour Morse solved the murder of a young girl in Bagley Wood and ITV have announced that Endeavour will be returning as a brand new series.

Have a coffee in the Morse Bar at the Randolph Hotel, or take a walk around some of Morse's favourite pubs .
