30-06-2011 : DROITWICH WATER FESTIVAL

After extensive renovations the Droitwich Canals will be officially opened on 1st July and to celebrate Vines Park will be playing host to a water festival.

The highlight of the celebrations will be the huge display of canal and working boats on the canals.

The festivities start with the opening ceremony with the arrival of the VIP guests by boat.

The fun will continue over the weekend with craft, trade and information stalls in the park and a peal of bells will be rung by St.

Augustines Church.

You can cruise the newly restored Droitwich Canals and visit Vines Park on a Canal Boat Holiday from Worcester Marina.
