02-07-2012 : EVESHAM RIVER FESTIVAL

The Evesham River Festival is being held this coming weekend and this year will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the River Avon being opened to the sea.

The festival will be a brilliant event for the whole family and the entertainment over the weekend will include stalls, face painting and an animal petting corner with animals to cuddle and reptiles and snakes to touch.

On Saturday Evesham River Festival will host a re enactment of the Flotilla of boats travelling from Wyre Piddle to the Workman Gardens.

Join in with the fun on your Canal Boat Holiday and mix with some faces from stage and TV including Prunella Scales, Timothy West, David Suchet and Toyah Willcox.
